I hosted my first Stitch 'n Chat tonight! I'm officially now my mother, or my Aunt, or someone like that.
Anyway, it was GREAT. It was all women from the complex, there were 6 of us in total (including me). Only one person brought some stitching, the rest came for the bitching I guess. But I taught two how to do counted cross-stitch, and while one was keen on it, I think the other will do it at the next night.
We've agreed to do it on a regular basis, once every two weeks. I'm so happy. It's nice to have a girls night, and its nice to have company doing stitching. Even if I'm the only one doing it, at least its socially acceptable in that setting!!
